Toph & Speech Bubbles

I updated the Avatar the Last Airbender Scene Maker!

As you can see, Toph doesn't have that much stuff, but I also had less to work with in the beginning, especially in terms of accessories. Expect more of this trend.

What do you guys think about the speech bubbles?

  2. I know you're very busy, but once you finish the whole scene maker and you've done all the characters that have been requested, if someone notices something they would want added, would you add that for them? just askin', if you even made any sense out of that question. ^^;;;

  3. also, i was wondering you could (if it isn't already drawn) add just a couple little bending things to them? Like for Toph if you could draw a few rocks just so it looks like she's earthbending. (i know zuko and katara already have them) so maybe Toph and Aang and Azula (i think you were going to add her..) ^^;; lol

  4. speech bubbles are cool :D was wondering how i could give them words to say... haha

  5. I really miss the bending oppertunities. I really love Katara's endless combination options, but with Toph and Aang I am just very quickly done. I wish Toph had pants, like Katara.
I would also just love to see more bending options, for all of them, to be honest. 'Cause it's kinda hard to make an earthbending OC (that's the term, right?) out of Katara if she has only water to bend with. And I absolutly miss it on Aang, he's is the Avater, he should at least have something!
I do like the speechbubbles though, even if I might not use them a lot.

But you're doing a great job!

  6. I like the speech bubbles, but all I could think to put in them is Zuko saying "Hello Zuko here". haha :D

  7. Yes, yes! I'll definitely have more bending at the end. Maybe a screen with drag n drop elements?

  8. OLa, that would be absolutely amazing.

  9. hi Ola :) can you make for katara 305 outfit from her wardrobe?

  10. @OLa It would be great if you did the drag & drop elements at the end!

  11. @Julie: I quite literally spat out my chocolate milk when I read your comment. Oh Zuko, king of the awkward speeches. :P

@OLa: :O SRYSLY? Yay for more bending! XD

And in general, LOVING Toph and teh speech bubbles! I was all like "Whoa...... Speech bubbles." :P

  15. Despite not liking Airbender and actually being slightly scared of it, I had a little go of the game. Yanno, cuz you worked so hard on it. I liked it. It was really good. A great choice of options and you can create your own families. =-) I'd prefer it if it wasn't Airbender-related though, but it's a good quality game and fans will like it a lot.

  17. Hey, I wondered if it wear possible to have a bigger space to move the figures around in. 'Cause now, I can barely put four figures at the same time in, let alone all of them in the end...

  18. I think bubbles are really a good idea. I love Toph... This game will be one of the most complete. I congratulate you and the artist for the work... I know it takes a lot of time and patience.
    Ciao

  19. your avatar scene maker is really great. i played for hours and created lots of outfits. but i found some little graphical mistakes on zuko and katara. i made a picture to show you what i mean. -> http://www.imgbox.de/users/public/images/9VVwE64rE2.jpg
kataras arm pieces seem to have a wrong layer. the problem is, when i use a top with wide sleeves (see screen on the top left side) the arm piece is above the sleeve. i made a screen (wearing the purple wide sleeved top from alisa christophers original game) where the arm pieces have the right layer. but watch out, there are some tops with tight sleeves where the arm pieces have to be above the top sleeves (see screen on the top right side). i marked the arm pieces with the mistake.
zuko has some other mistake with some of his robes and an armor. on the pieces i marked there is the backside missing (see top left screen). on alisas game the backside appears. especially when he wears pants and no long tunics it looks a little weird when there is nothing behind his legs.
i hope its not too much, but could you please correct these mistakes. i know that you have more than enough work with the other characters to import to your game, but it would be very nice, if this limit could be removed, so that anyone can have katara wear wide sleeved tops with arm pieces hidden beneath the sleeves and zuko wear robes that have a backside (who doesn’t want to wear a whole robe instead of a half). if you don’t fix it, i have no problem with it. i just wanted to let you know. i am sorry if my english is bad.

  20. anonymous from 2:56...

if the arm pieces are "hidden beneath the sleeves" do they really need to be there anyway?

i agree with you on the robe thing, though

Well, it's nice to have parts of it peaking out from the edge. For example, a character I made always wears the blue bracelets, but when I try and put them on with wider sleeves, rather than having the bottom part of them shown, they go over the edge. A lot of the things could still be seen under the long sleeves, but since they go over them they can't be used at the same time.

  22. I don't see a thing wrong with it, but momo would be nice and you could just make another background for appa. BUt please,Please,PLEASE put Suki and Uai (however you spell her name) in the game they are my FAVORITE charectors other than Katara and Toph. pretty, pretty, pretty please!

  23. I loved the original Katara dress up and I like playing the dress up games on this site so I like it a lot that you are making dress up with most of the characters.

I did notice some problems with the Katara dress up: the high collared sleeveless top that doesn't have long flaps, it can't be worn over any of the clothes and it's so pretty that I don't like hiding it. Also the of the shoulders shirt with sleeves to the ground: the sleeves hide behind all of the dresses so it looks wierd. Also the Kyoshi warrior outer skirts don't match with the colour of the shirt so you can't make "real" Kyoshi warriors in green because the over skirt is so bright green it looks out of place with rest of the outfit.

I do like the dress up a lot but would you maybe consider doing some of Tophs and Kataras "pretty" dresses in pastel colours at some point. I would like making OC characters and pink would be nice colour to have since most of the reds are really dark. Also pale yellow, the bright green Kataras dress from the finale is and light purple would be nice. And also doing the other girls clothes in more colour wariation so that there is kind of colours for every ones taste.

The space where you make them could be larger since it's really crowded already with four and you are planning on doing more.

  24. Another thing about making a Kyoshi Warrior is that they wear the wrist guards and gloves at the same time, which you can't do at the moment.

  25. Sorry, I can't expand the area because the backgrounds are already a set size. I can probably slightly enlarge the area where the bubbles can be placed though?

    Hey Anon, good eye!
It seems I had the backs of Zuko's robes all set-up, but I forgot to name the movieclip so it wasn't responding properly. I fixed it, and I re-arranged Katara's shirts to make more sense with the arm bands. Thanks!
You'll see the changes with the next update ~

To the second Anon, (people, use names!), I just saw your suggestions now, but there's some good stuff there too. Hopefully I'll have time to incorporate some later.

Appa and Momo would be great, but I'm not good enough to draw them, and I only have what Alisa's already done.

  27. Can you make a doll thats based on all of the 7 deadly sins and 7 heavenly virtues? Thx.

  28. Ok, just a few things.
for starters, when I give Katara Kyoshi makeup it now puts a little line on her chin. I know this isn't a big thing, but as I am a rabid Kyoshi fan, it bugs me. Another thing is that with some of the hair options (again on Katara) the earrings go in front of the hair, and it looks glitchy. Try as I might, I actually can't get the blue feathered armbands for Katara. Every time I click it, I get the red/orange ones instead.
Ok, my OCD-ness about the glitches taken care of, I wanted to ask if you could add a reset button. Sometimes I add so many things that I just refresh the page rather than take them all off. In my case, a reset button would be AWESOME. Sorry if I'm sounding complain-y, I just love this show and your game SO much I want it to be absolutely PERFECT! :D

Hm... I see now that this wasn't really just a few things.... sorry!

  31. Okey I just noticed that Azulas dullred "shirt-skirt" thingy has the back part of her red skirt which hangs really wierdly from the back. It would be very nice if you fixed this since both clothes look really wierd right now when put on Azula.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Oh and the ponytail thingy for Azula can't be worn at all because it doesn't "fit" her updo at all.

    ON BENDING ELEMENTS:

I'm thinking they all need to be able to bend all of the elements(for making OC characters and fight scenes.)

You could do something like you did with the speech bubbles, like different elements in different bending patterns, but like drag and drop so it's not just for one character. The drag and drop could make it easier to save space for you and also please the people who want them to bend other elements.

Another plus side is that you could save it until the end, seeing as it is not one character's thing.

And with these elements, I'd love to see you do something original that is not adapted from DeviantArt. Maybe something from the show.

I hope this appeals to you, it would make a lot of the whiney-butt complainers happy.

    :-)
